           A GILT COPPER-ALLOY REPOUSSÉ ‘SNOW LION’ PLAQUE
           Tibet, 18th century
           The recumbent beast chased in high relief, sporting a fearsome
           expression, its mane and tail well detailed and picked out in black
           pigment, the mouth picked out in red, all set within an ogival
           cartouche, the square plaque mounted on a perspex stand.
