A WHITE JADE QUATREFOIL

QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The washer is delicately carved with shallow
four-lobed sides rising from a recessed base to a
conforming rim. The semi-translucent stone is
of an even white tone.

A WHITE JADE ‘CHILONG’ SEAL
The seal of oval section is carved to the upper
surface in high relief and openwork with a
chilong that is clambering over the edge of
one side. The seal face is carved with a two-
character inscription.

TWO MINIATURE WHITE JADE
CARVINGS
QING DYNASTY (1644-1911)
The first is of a white jade jue-form tripod
vessel, carved with dragon-head handles and
raised on three tapering legs. The second is of a
small, well carved tripod censer with a globular
body, flanked on both sides with dragon-form
handles and supported on three tapering legs.
Both stones are of an even white tone.
Largest: 2Ω in. (6 cm.) high, stand, box
