19TH CENTURY
The blue silk gauze is worked
in couched gold thread and
fne counted stitch with nine
fve-clawed dragons pursuing
faming pearls amidst fve-
colour clouds interspersed with
cranes in fight, all above a wave
border and lishui stripes.
