The fgure is shown seated on a rockwork base wearing long 家族珍藏至今
robes with wide sleeves that fall in loose folds. The back of the
base is incised with a Chinese inscription including the dating 294 No Lot
‘Eighteen Luohans, made in the frst winter month of the ffth
year of Wanli’ together with a verse from a sutra.
