18th/19th century
The oval plaque, probably from a ruyi
sceptre, carved in low relief with a shou
character flanked with two chilong dragons,
mounted as a brooch with yellow-metal;
together with a pair of yellow-metal mounted
tear-drop form amber earrings, 20th century.

The boulder carved in relief and openwork
with seven scholar sages conversing, playing
music and appreciating painting by a large
bamboo forest, raised on a naturalistic
carved bamboo-form plinth.
