The first flattened white opaque glass
bottle finely carved with two carp frolicking
amongst lotus flowers in a basket, stopper;
the second larger bottle with eleven cranes in
flight, stopper.
The largest: 6cm (2 3/8in) high (4).

GLASS ‘LADIES’ SNUFF BOTTLE
18th/19th century
The first frosted red glass bottle formed as
a ripe pomegranate, carved in relief with the
seeds and leafy tendrils, stopper; the second
frosted translucent white glass bottle with
two beauties, one holding a fan, the other
a floral sprig, with beast mask handles,
stopper; together with a yellow glass basket-
weave bottle, 19th/20th century, stopper.
The largest: 5.5cm (2 1/8in) high (6).

The first bottle with a multitude of floral
sprays and flowerpots holding blossoming
sprigs, beast mask handles, two-character
玩古 wan gu mark, stopper; the second
flattened bottle carved in yellow and blue
overlay with a pastoral scene of scholars and
attendants about a villa by a river, stopper.
The largest: 6.6cm (2 7/8in) high (4).
