The flattened circular vase moulded with the face with a roundel enclosing a wan symbol, Formed as an inverted fruit, flanked with a
ba gua to each face encircling a tai ji motif, supported on the back of a stylised elephant, dragon-form spout and loop handle, raised
raised on a high foot and with a straight raised on a short foot and with a small on three ruyi-head form feet, with cursive
cylindrical neck flanked with bamboo-form mouth. 5.5cm (2 1/8in) high inscriptions to each side, between impress
handles, all covered in a thick variegated moulded shou characters, the lid with a lotus
lavender-blue glaze. 41.5cm (16 1/4in) high £500 - 800 pod with loose seeds. 17.5cm (6 7/8in) wide
