flowerhead with a pouring spout, with a
hollow green stem bearing the reign mark.

The inscription on the reverse of the stems
may be translated as ‘A commemorative
cup of the Autumn Manoeuvres near Lake
Tai in Anhui Province in the 3rd (the second
cup: 5th) year of Guangxu of the Great Qing
Dynasty’.

Each finely enamelled to the exterior with
peony sprays, raised on a narrow foot rim
and with a small everted lip.
