ENAMEL ‘PRUNUS’ BOWLS
Shendetang four-character marks, Daoguang
Each bowl delicately enamelled to the
exterior with leafy green sprigs issuing
camellia blooms beside two gnarled
branches issuing prunus blossoms, the
extended branches creeping into the interior
of the bowls. Each 14.3cm (5 5/8in) diam.

A PINK-ENAMELLED BLUE AND WHITE
‘CHILONG AND LINGZHI’ VASE
Qing Dynasty
Brightly enamelled to each side with three
pink enamelled chilong writhing amongst
lingzhi sprays picked out in enamel and
underglaze-blue, the shoulder flanked with
stylised horse-head loop handles, the base
with an effaced mark reading Daoguang
gengxu nianzhi, corresponding to AD1850.
