The bottle is carved through the transparent red glass overlay to Boston, International Chinese Snuf Bottle Society Convention,
the bubble-sufused clear ground on both sides with medallions, The Barron Collection, 23-26 September 2008.
one containing a scene of a boy riding a water bufalo, the other a
fsherman and traveler beneath a large pine tree, all between mask 1760-1840年 透明地套紅玻璃開光漁樵耕讀圖鼻煙壺
and ring handles on the narrow sides.

A BLUE AND WHITE GUYUE XUAN ZHI PORCELAIN
SNUFF BOTTLE
JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1830-1880
The bottle is decorated with a continuous scene of monkeys at play
by a rocky stream below large pines, and with a single monkey on
the base. The mouth rim is inscribed with a four-character Guyue
xuan zhi mark in underglaze blue.
