                                                The transparent, deep ruby-red overlay is carved to the opaque
                                                white ground with a sinuous four-clawed dragon striding towards
                                                a faming pearl.

                                                AN ENAMELED AND MOLDED PORCELAIN
                                                SNUFF BOTTLE
                                                JINGDEZHEN KILNS, 1840-1900
                                                One side has raised decoration of a seal face reading Xunyangling
                                                yin (‘Seal of the Xunyang prefect’) and a censer, the reverse is
                                                decorated with a lady riding a tiger and wielding a sword
