of rectangular form, elegantly carved around the recessed
inkwell with a cluster of orchid blossoms borne on long slender
leaves issuing from a shaped rock, the underside hollowed in
a slope, the smoothly polished stone of a purplish-brown color
with a band of green encircling the sides, Japanese wood box
