comprised of one white-glazed green-splashed porcelain ring QING DYNASTY / 20TH CENTURY
carved with two ding characters; one lacquered ring carved
with bamboo, lingzhi, and a poem; and one lacquered ring cast with a revolving band featuring two ve-clawed dragons
carved and painted with a poem and an image of a lady in a pursuing a ‘ aming pearl’ among clouds between xed keyfret
window (3) borders, the interior inscribed Da Qing Qianlong renyin nian
Diameter of largest 1¼ in., 3.3 cm yushi (‘inscribed in the renyin year of Qianlong’s reign in the
PROVENANCE Great Qing dynasty,’ corresponding to 1782), of yellow gold
Collection of Mr. Emmanuel Gran, acquired while living in greater than 22K

reading renxin jinruci tianxia ziheping you Guanxiu ju (if
everyone has the same heart, the world will be at peace, in
respect to Guanxiu’s verse), followed by a two-character seal
reading tianfu (heavenly mansion)
