CENTURY
the single panel top set within a frame and joined
to scrolling everted anges at either end, over
a wide apron elaborately carved with a scrolling
meander of lea ng peony blooms, extending to
shaped spandrels anking rectangular section
legs similarly decorated, the legs joined at the
short ends by stretchers enclosing archaistic
openwork brackets, and supported on shaped
and further foliate-carved slab feet

board oating panel doors divided by a removable
central stile, all above rectangular panel and a
cusped apron carved with confronting chilong
amid scrollwork, the interior with two shelves, the
lower shelf over two drawers and a storage well,
huangtong mounts
