One of the greater issues on any good story is the ending…,
and I would love to tell you “they all lived happily ever after.”

Unfortunately not all life is like that and mine certainly is not:

                                                                                It gets messy
Recovering from Rescue is certainly one of those “messy” subjects as
recently we have added words like PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress
Syndrome to the equation, Grief Counseling, Stress Reduction,
adaptive therapy and many other mental and emotional health
dialogues to the common discourse of how we all deal with STRESS,
                                                      DEATH, NEARB DYING experiences.
                                                                            I got news for you.

If you go thru trauma of any kind there is a corresponding symptom
of trauma to your psyche, mind and emotions your body will go thru
seeking to adapt and adopt some type of recovery from a very
                                                                       challenging experience of life.
                                                                       AND WE ALL HAVE THEM.

Recovery is more than Rescue. Grief Counselors, Social Workers,
Chaplains Ministers all trained in similar fields know there is more to recue than survival and often it is “after the fact”
that real life issues are dealt with. Being “ok” by having a near death experience is better than dying but there is so much
more to the story the drama usually is only the beginning and PTSD is applicable to more than military but every
circumstance of “eventful lives” and must be addressed.
It’s when you find yourself alone the real work begins.

Alone. You don’t recover in a crowd though for a time and a season you may need to be in the company of others and
have certain dialogue and assistance from people :
Sooner than later though the real gut work of dealing with

actions, reactions, and interactions of being alone takes it’s toll.
It’s then you face your demons and I don’t care who you are everyone has demons from stresses of some kind.

Loss, Guilt, Shame, Pride, Ego, Depression, Euphoria, Anger, Adrenaline, any mix and remix of the mind reliving and
releasing the incident will create a cornucopia of human emotions to deal with as you and your emotive side really do try
to move on, usually with mixed results.
Knowing this doesn’t solve the issue’s anyone faces and easch person is unique: but it is the beginning of a process that
has to be applied to any given stress that takes time and patience to adjust into experience of this thing called life.

If your to go on living you need time to process.
If you are to go on living you need time to remember, relive, release and redeem the experience.

If you are to go on living you need to cry, you need to bleed, you need to humanize your experience.
IF YOU DON”T YOU WILL BE A VICTIM TO YOUR TRAUMA

If you do you will overcome and incorporate a life experience into Wisdom.
GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO RECOVER BECAUSE RESCUE IS ONLY THE FIRST STEP
