Usability Testing
Most of the right‐handed participants considered the application into the left eye as easy as into
the right eye.
• 2 participants found that the administration into the left eye was easier because a second
administration is simpler when a first one has been made into the right eye.
• 2 participants found that the administration into the left eye was easier because the left
hand could be used to pull the lower eyelid down.
• 1 participant found that the administration was easier because he is left‐handed
• 6 participants found that the administration was more difficult. These participants said that
their handedness was the reason of this problem.
• 1 left‐handed participant found that the administration was as easy into the left eye as into
the right eye.
2.5.4. DISCUSSION AND CONCLUSION
The handedness didn’t raise any specific issue. Most of participants considered the application
into the left eye as easy as into the right eye. Only 1 participant experienced difficulty to
administer the drops into the left eye.
Otherwise, almost all participants found the application into both eyes easy or very easy.
Results should be considered as very positive. Participants handle the device and apply the drops
correctly and easily into both eyes.
