                                                        Usability Testing Final Report

               3. OVERALL CONCLUSION

The test of DUOKOPT has been made in order to assess the usability of the medical device

according to the standard ISO IEC 62366:2007.
During this test, participants were able to identify the main characteristics of the medicine, i.e. its

indication, the part of the body on which drops should be applied and all the steps of the use of
               the product.

The test has also checked the facility of the instructions and their implementation to use the
               medical device.

After this survey, it appears that:

               • the position of the fingers on the medical device is comfortable, intuitive and natural. It makes
the handling and the use of the device easy,

               • the activation of the pumping mechanism and the administration is easy,
               • instructions are clear.

Otherwise, the shape of the device:

               • prevents any misuse of the product,
               • fits in the hand quite nicely,

               • provides extra leverage,
               • allows wider surface and pressure to aid squeezing,

               • avoids the contact between the fingers and the bottle tip,

The results of the test also highlighted the good perception of the device by participants.

In conclusion, the device ensures a good application of the medicine by the patients and fully
conforms to the standard set in the standard ISO IEC 62366:2007.
