Reader's Guide
eople tend to think ancient history is an uninteresting subject
— something that is very old, too abstract, tedious or even
P dull. “It’s so long ago, too far back to even think about it,” is the
feedback I have heard when giving lectures. Here are some thoughts
that may aid you in understanding the structure and intent of this
book:
1.) The goal of this book is to create greater awareness of
the ethnic representation of the people in the Old Testament.
This book is about historical subjects and will not concentrate on
religion. I respectfully leave the religious coverage to the trained
men and women. It may appear that occasionally I venture over
the religious line when presenting certain historical subjects as
it is almost impossible to separate all the religious concepts from
historical events — but that was certainly my goal.
2.) The scope of this book covers the Old Testament, which
occurred before the birth of Christ. I will identify biblical information
that includes black nations that existed during that era. These black
nations went back to 5000 B.C. and were much older than Abraham
and the authors of the old Testament. My goal is to enlighten and
educate the world about the ancient black nations and people
contained in the old Testament. I want to create more dialogue and
critical thinking on old Testament characters and information.
3.) It is not my desire to disrespect any nation or race of people
during this book. no racial insults, no human degrading are necessary
to present my information. However, there will be times when I am
bold and direct on certain subjects because courage is required when
