want my heart and mind to be filled with knowledge.

“In Jerusalem, I will study with some of the greatest
teachers in the world and a very wise king. I will learn as
much as they are able to teach and I will grow in wisdom.
The journey will indeed be long and difficult for everyone.
But my life will not be complete if I miss the chance to
learn from the great teachers and from King Solomon.”
“Dear queen, it is our desire to travel with you and
protect you during this journey to Jerusalem,” the elder
member in the group said. “We know that you face a
difficult journey ahead and we all wish to be with you,
whether in life or in death.”
“Thank you, my people, for you have touched my heart
with your loyalty and kindness,” Makeda said. “I will tell
Tamrin to arrange for you to travel with me.”
When the day arrived, the travelers began to assemble
in the courtyard. The army, servants and animals were
gathered together under the watchful eyes of Tamrin.
Some of the travelers brought their families along to say
goodbye, and there was hugging and crying as relatives
said their last words to each other.
