2 — OUR VISION
Often considered as the sport of solely the wealthy and connected with male dominated
golf club memberships, participation in golf has declined in recent years through a
combination of negative perception, the time it takes and its cost.
To revive the game and make the sport accessible, players today must be provided with
opportunities to play without spending hours away from home or business and, given
the demands on disposable income, without the burden of expensive membership fees
and equipment.
The Hot Shots concept eliminates all these negative perceptions and provides
opportunities for participation in golf across all age groups and genders at affordable
costs by presenting golf as a leisure activity to the local communities in a manner not
seen and experienced in the UK before.
Hot Shots provides fun for all the family with its state-of-the-art ball tracking technology
offering a wide range of games suitable for all ages and levels of skill, bringing the driving
range concept into a broad entertainment offering. Phil Harrison’s close relationships
with the Professional Golfers Association, the European Tour, Golf England and the Royal
& Ancient, will enable Hot Shots to engage these organisations to provide high quality
teaching programmes for both beginners and highly skilled players.
Low cost membership will be available, the initial business model sets it at just £10 per
annum which is a unique entry level to golf facility membership.
The Centre will attract over 236,000 visits in the first year. Reoccurring annual
memberships will create significant future revenues.
