The National Auto Auction Association
remembers Pete Lukasiak —At age 78,
Pete passed away on Saturday, December
18, 2021, in the comfort of his home in
Monrovia, MD.

Appointed as NAAA Executive Director
serving from 1988-2002, Pete took over
for long-time Executive Secretary Bernie
Hart. Before employment with NAAA, he
was the former director of publications
for the National Automobile Dealers

Association. After his separation from
NAAA, he worked for the Pennsylvania

Independent Auto Dealers Association

in Harrisburg, PA until his retirement.

Pete is survived by his wife Vivian of 57

years of marriage, his daughter Sandy
Chaney, his son Chris Lukasiak, and
CY
grandchildren Jessica, Gabriel, Joshua,
Zachary, Benjamin, and Hope. CMY

A celebration of Pete's life will be held later
in January as his family finalizes plans.
They will advise and post information on
the Stauffer Funeral Home website, and
offers of sympathy may also be posted
staufferfuneralhome.com.

In place of flowers, the Lukasiak family
prefers donations be made to the New
Market/Green Valley Fire & Rescue
Company in Monrovia, MD, in Pete’s
name at nmvfc15.org. t
