at the association. We are in the middle of convention planning, trying to increase our Seminars:
membership and also we are in the middle of the 2020 MS Legislative session. I have
been monitoring the proposed legislation daily to insure that our members are aware of April 18
potential changes that could affect our industry. House Bill 363 adds towing companies May 16
and auto-repair shops to the list of exempt entities who do not have to title and tag mo-
tor vehicles before they can be sold. Also, House Bill 869 extends the odometer disclo- Jun 13
sure requirement from motor vehicle 10 years and newer to 20 years or newer effective July 18
01/01/2021 to coincide with the changing federal guidelines and requirements.
