Pipeline relief
Enbridge has started up the Canadian portion of its Line 3 replacement, with other efforts to add to Western Canadian takeaway capacity also underway.
Net exporter
The US reported its first full month as a net exporter of crude and petroleum products in September, and subsequent months could show a similar trend.
Feed gas
McDermott International and Chiyoda International have introduced feed gas to the second train at the Cameron LNG terminal in Louisiana.

Oilfield service provider Halliburton said this week that it planned to close an office in Oklahoma, with the move set to result in 808 jobs being cut.
