3 Tighten the second knot on top of the first one and continue tying
Crown Knots, one on top of the other.

4 Repeat the Crown Knots until the sennit reaches desired length.

If you alternate the direction of each successive Crown Knot, the
result will be a Square Crown Sennit. Other variations include using
strands of different color or using eight cords instead of four. Crown
Sennits may be used as decorative handles for key rings, bell clappers,
and other objects.
