relationships and dreams shattered, and the loss of loved ones.
Uncertainty is in so many aspects of our lives.

The Israelites were living in exile in Babylon. They were living in
a land that was not their own, living a life they did not want to
live. Life was no longer certain. They had fallen out of favor with
God. They were beat down and oppressed. The people cried
“...our bones are dried up, and our hope is lost; we are completely
cut off.” God told Ezekiel to say to these people …”O dry bones
hear the word of the Lord ….. I will cause breath to enter you and
           you shall live. “
I know that when I feel overwhelmed, cut off and hopeless I tell
myself to slow down and breathe. I stop and take a deep breath, a
very deep breath. The kind of breathe that requires you to let go of
everything and fill your nostrils and send air to the deepest parts
           of your lungs.
           Take a deep breath now.
Imagine that first breath you took the day you were born, that day
God breathed life into you and started your life’s journey. “Can
           these bones live?” Yes…..
Prayer: Breathe of Heaven hold me together. Be forever near
me, lighten my darkness, and fill me with hope. Pour over me
your Holiness, for you are Holy, Breathe of Heaven. Amen

                              What Really Matters

           Scripture: 1 Samuel 16:7b “For the Lord sees not as man sees;
man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the
           heart.”

With over 2 billion active users each month, Facebook is the
world’s largest social media site. Imagine the number of hours
spent creating personas so that others view us as we would like to
           be seen.
