After my previous mishap in Mexico, I have been given a second chance and am here to
mediate with the President, Porfirio Diaz and rebel Pancho Villa.
By chance I bumped into a young gentleman in a bar by the name of Harry Johnson - he is
travelling in the area looking for new drinks for his bartending manuscript. Harry
hears of my delicate task and offers his services.
In a bid to show how all the people of Mexico can work together in harmony, the young
bartender concocts a superlative drink incorporating all the flavours of the country.
The mediation so nearly worked but for Porfirio having one drink too many whereby he
started an argument over which distillate was superior, Tequila or Mezcal. Tempers flared
escalating to the point of Porfirio challenging Pancho to a duel.
Fortunately, the hot headed President was extricated from the room before any more
damage was done.
I hear later that Pancho never forgave the slight to his beloved Mezcal.
