It is the ‘Feast of All Saints’ and I have instructed the crew to join in the festival
known locally as ‘Día de Muertos’. They don their masks then head off in search of fun
& debauchery with a bottle of Tequila in one hand and Mezcal in the other. I head off
elsewhere to find a game of chance.

Sitting down at a table, I notice that one of the other players is my old acquaintance
Charles Cretors, the same young inventor whose first popcorn machine I inadvertently
destroyed some time ago. He is now in Mexico trying to raise investment for his latest
peanut roasting contraption which to my untrained eyes looks suspiciously just like his
          popcorn one.

Presenting him with a peace offering of my pair of local distillates he accepts, I clap him

on the back in approval and he promptly drops both bottles on his latest invention.

In a rage he chases me out onto the street - only by grabbing a skull mask from a local
stall am I able to blend in and disappear in the lanes heaving with revellers.
