First celebrated here, at the County in 2020, Customer Service Week (CSW) is an annual national event held the first
week of October, that has grown in popularity over the last few years. Is this the start of a new County family
tradition?
Last year’s Customer Service Week virtual pep rally was so well received that HRD plans to continue the
festivities and fun this year. Department customer service achievements will be shared, as well as a half-time
show featuring a video compilation of team photos from participating Departments/Divisions. Click HERE to

One of the highlights of CSW is the opportunity for all employees to submit written testimonials
acknowledging staff, a team, co-workers, managers/supervisors, etc. Testimonials are featured in videos that
are posted on the HRD and County social media sites and shared with all employees. Click the links below to

How do employees take the lead in providing quality customer service? We encourage you to take a moment
to view the existing “Take the Lead” videos (click HERE) created by County employees from various
departments and consider creating your own individual or team video to be featured during CSW.
Be on the lookout for flyers announcing the CSW pep rally and details on submitting team photos, recognition
testimonials and/or a “Take the Lead” video.
