Dear County of Monterey Team,
I am honored and excited to address you as the new Director of Human Resources for our remarkable organization. As I step
into this role, I am inspired by the dedication and passion that defines the County of Monterey workforce. Together, we have
the opportunity to cultivate a workplace of excellence and innovation. To this end, I want to speak a little about what I
believe makes this County unique and address some of the initiatives that are being planned.

importance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Working closely with the Benefits Team, we will strengthen our
communication about the wellness tools available to you already, including employee assistance programs and mental
health resources, to ensure that you have the support you need to thrive both personally and professionally.
