The Evidence through Scripture, Nature, and Traditional Proofs.

Evidence of God’s Existence through Scripture.
In addition to people’s inborn sense as proof of the existence of God, clear testimony of the existence of
God is also seen in Scripture and in nature.

Read throughout the Bible is the evidence that shows that truly, God exists. In Psalm 19:1-2, the
Psalmist says, The heavens declare the glory of God, and the expanse proclaims the work of his hands.
                            1
2 Day after day they pour out speech; night after night they communicate knowledge” (CSB). We find out
that the heavens and the skies announce the glory of God. This announcement is not sudden, but
continuous shown by the phrases “day by day” “night after night” in verse 2. How are they doing that
and in what language? I do not think that the Psalmist wants us to know how and in what language are
they doing that. I think he wants us to know that God exists and that glory to God is being declared
               continuously.

Evidence of God’s Existence through Nature.
                                                                                             4
Wayne Grudem says that the “world also gives abundant evidence of God’s existence.” From Romans
                                         20
1:20, apostle Paul says that “ For his invisible attributes, that is, his eternal power and divine nature,
have been clearly seen since the creation of the world, being understood through what he has made. As
a result, people are without excuse” (CSB). Paul states the content of the revelation that God makes
known to all mankind. From the creation of the world, God has made His invisible attributes visible. The
particular attributes that man can perceive (in part) through his natural senses are God's eternal power
and His divine nature. God's eternal power refers to His omnipotence, which is expressed in the creation
(Gen. 1 and 2). God’s revelation of Himself through creation can be clearly seen by everyone, being
understood through what has been made. God's natural revelation of Himself is not unknown or
selective, and plain only by a few insightful souls who are specially gifted. God has never left Himself
               without a witness!

So, all created beings bear the mark of their Creator (Gen. 1:26-28). Human beings especially, bear the
mark of their Creator through two ways. 1) Through their creation in the image of God (Imago Dei). 2)
Perhaps through marriage. The unity and oneness expected to be seen in marriage should mirror the
unity and oneness revealed in the triune God.

Traditional Proofs for the Existence of God.
Traditional proofs for the existence of God, constructed by Christian and non-Christian philosophers are
in fact efforts to carefully and purposefully examine the evidence, especially from nature in order to
convince people that it is actually wrong to deny the existence of God. Those proofs are categorized into
               four major types of argument.

Cosmological Argument. This argument considers that every known thing in the universe and the
universe itself did not come about without a cause. The cause for such a great universe can only be God.

Teleological Argument. Teleological is a compound word coming from two words. Telos comes from a
                                                        5
Greek word which means goal/end/purpose. Logia comes from Greek word which means a study or
interest. Combined together, it means the study of end or goal or purpose. Teleological argument has
