The Teleological Argument
Ontological Argument. The view of ontology was developed by Anselm and defines God as the “being
than which nothing greater can be conceived.” After developing some more steps in order to clarify this
discussion, he concluded by saying that “A greater being—one that exists both in the mind and in
reality—could be conceived. . . Thus, the existence of God was proven.”

Moral Argument. This argument begins with human’s sense of right and wrong and a deep longing for
justice. It also begs the question concerning the source of right or wrong. As a result, Grudem says that
