d. Angels are invisible (Col. 1:16).
e. Angels are creatures and therefore finite and limited.
f. Angels cannot be in two or more places simultaneously.
Angel are Rational, Moral, and Immortal Beings
This means that they are personal beings endowed with intelligence and will. The fact that they are
intelligent beings would seem to follow at once from the fact that they are spirits; but it is also taught
explicitly in Scripture.
“in order to change the appearance of things your servant Joab has done this thing. But my lord is wise,
like the wisdom of the angel of God, to know all that is in the earth”” (2 Sam. 14:20, NASB95). ““But of
that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone”
(Matt. 24:36, NASB95). “so that the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known through the
church to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly places” (Eph. 3:10, NASB95). “It was revealed to
them that they were not serving themselves, but you, in these things which now have been announced to
you through those who preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven—things into
which angels long to look” (1 Pet. 1:12, NASB95). “whereas angels who are greater in might and power
do not bring a reviling judgment against them before the Lord.” (2 Pet. 2:11, NASB95).
Angels are not omniscient, but they are superior to men in knowledge (Matt. 24:36). Moreover, they are
possessed of moral natures, and as such are under moral obligation; they are rewarded for obedience,
and are punished for disobedience.
Angel can be good or Evil
The Bible teaches that God created everything good, including angels I believe. At the end of His creative
work God saw everything that He had made and, behold, it was very good. Angels were not created as
evil. God saw everything that He had created, and it was very good, Gen. 1:31.
Holy Angels
The Bible speaks of the angels which remained loyal as “holy angels, “Bless the LORD, you His
angels, Mighty in strength, who perform His word, Obeying the voice of His word!” (Psa. 103:20,
NASB95). ““But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on
His glorious throne.” (Matt. 25:31, NASB95). ““For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this
adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will also be ashamed of him when He comes in the
glory of His Father with the holy angels.”” (Mark 8:38, NASB95). ““For whoever is ashamed of Me and
My words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when He comes in His glory, and the glory of the
Father and of the holy angels.” (Luke 9:26, NASB95). “he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God,
which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone
in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb” (Rev. 14:10, NASB95). ““See that you
do not despise one of these little ones, for I say to you that their angels in heaven continually see the face
of My Father who is in heaven” (Matt. 18:10, NASB95).
Demonic Angels
The Bible speaks of the who fell away as lying and sinning. In addition to the good there also are evil
angels, who delight in opposing God and antagonizing His work There are two passages in Scripture
which clearly imply that some of the angels did not retain their original position, but fell from the state
in which they were created, 2 Pet. 2:4; Jude 6. The special sin of these angels is not revealed, but has
