had preached that afternoon and he had another speaking engagement that evening, when the Lord
                called him home.

Pastor McCoy faced life’s winter well because he was committed to Jesus Christ and His cause with
others. He was committed to keep growing. If we will do the same, we will also be able to face life’s
                winter well!

When you are at the end of your life – how would you like people to
                                          remember you?

                13.4 Let’s Practice…

1-5. Paul mentions seven characteristics of a man who lives out what he says. List 5 of the
                         seven areas of character:

                6. What is the hard part about becoming a Christian?

                7. How long does genuine faith persevere?

                13.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…

Activity: No one plans on dying. The other day a
tornado went through our state and killed about 25
people in the night. These people did not plan on
dying that night. Death sometimes comes quickly. So,
in preparation of your death, what would you like
inscribed on your tombstone? Write a short one-sentence phrase
that best would describe your life:

                                                                 90
