Biblical Ethics examines the Heart of Man.
Biblical Christian ethics looks into the hidden man of the heart. It seeks for the power
whereby the highest good can be realized. Biblical ethics springs from the doctrinal
truths of the Word of God. It maintains that the moral life can only be understood in
light of the motivating power made possible by Jesus Christ and through life and union
with Him.

The principles we have set for ourselves are going to dictate our reaction to every situation that arises, be it at
church, on the job, at home with the family, or in a strange place. Biblical ethics know it is not enough to appeal
to reason in man, for the will must somehow be brought into line with the dictates of conscience and reason.
Biblical ethics is not satisfied to know the good, but choose the evil. It strives to relate behavior to the Gospel
and predicates all righteousness on Jesus Christ. It can readily be seen that Biblical ethics has its source in the
Scriptures.
