day. This is why we are taught to pray, give us this day our daily bread and what He was referring to in
this prayer was the bread of His grace. So, let me remind you how God is able to make all grace abound
to you as you trust Him for this daily bread.

2 Timothy 2:13 If we are faithless, He will remain Faithful… I have just mentioned several faith filled
prayers, but I am including this verse as at times our faith may fail. Thank God that His faithfulness will
never fail. You may also want to pray Luke 17:5 The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”

               Psalm 90:17 Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us and establish the work of our hands upon us;
yes, establish the work of our hands! Deuteronomy 33:16 May the favor of Him who dwelt in the
burning bush. May these rest on the head of Joseph and crown the brow of the prince of his brothers.
At times in the scriptures, Biblical characters would pray for the favor of God to rest upon themselves or
others. As they prayer for His favor to rest upon them they would often remind God of His
demonstrations of favor such as the burning bush.

Job38:22 Have you entered the treasury of snow, or have you seen the treasury of hail.
Ephesians 1:16-20 I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the
glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow
in your knowledge of God. I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand
the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious
inheritance. I also pray that you will understand the incredible greatness of God’s power for us who
believe him. This is the same mighty power that raised Christ from the dead and seated him in the place
of honor at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.

I have put both verses together because of the powerful truths that are found in them. When we begin
to enter the treasure of the snow, we realize that there are no two snowflakes that are exactly the same
and there are not two individuals who are exactly alike. Ephesians 2:10 teaches us that we are God's
masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long
ago. Paul prays in Ephesians 1 that our wisdom and knowledge of just who we are in Christ would grow.
Just as you look at the brightness of the sun rising Paul prayed that your soul would be flooded with the
light of God so that you can fully understand the hope, He has given you and the power of His
resurrection that is at work in you. Look a little further to Ephesians 3:14-21 and discover that these
unlimited resources are yours and begin to pray these prayers.

               Hindrances to Prayer

In the modern world when a person goes to a light
switch and turns it on, they expect the lights to come
on. When they go to a water faucet and turn the knob,
they expect water to begin to flow. When they go to
their bank to cash a check, they have made out to
themselves, they expect to receive money from the
banker. These are normal expectations. Likewise, all
through the scriptures God tells us that the normal
expectations of our prayers are that we ask and
receive. John 16:24… ask, and ye shall receive, that your
joy may be full. Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given
you. Mark 11:24 What things so ever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall
