11.5 Let’s Personalize this Lesson…

God has given you a wonderful brain and with it you can postulate things. You can figure out
what happened in the past by looking at the evidence. But how we look at the evidence of
historical happenings is based on our personal beliefs and perspectives. There is no such thing
as unbiased assumptions. Our belief in a Creator will totally taint how we look at a fossil. Our
belief in a flood changes our perspective. But don’t forget, the evolutionists has a totally different belief
system (that there is NO GOD, that all he observes is here by chance, and that all that has happened in
the past is based on what is happening today). So his conclusions will probably oppose yours.

Should this be a surprise to us? No! Jesus told his disciples that the world will hate them because the
world hated Him. Men, in their rebellion against God can become very demonstrative in their hatred to
anyone who would stand with God. Have you ever been persecuted for your faith in Jesus Christ?
Stand strong, because you are standing with the clear evidence!
