P. 17

The pastor must plan music to those tasked with the responsibility of administering music in the church. Music
should correspond with Sunday preaching and teachings. We should be careful not to allow modern musical
instruments used by deceitfully drawing people to church without proper conversion experience. We don’t
            entertain; we worship!

Make sure proper guidelines are put in place for anyone wanting to join any of the singing groups in the church.

Anything related to instrumentation should be tested and well placed before the beginning of the service.

            11. Pastoring

Because the pastor deals with people, and people are seldom predictable, it is difficult to predict the outcome of
many of his encounters. If is valuable for him to explore the successes and the failures of other pastors, to
analyze their techniques, and to discover some basic principles that can be applied to their own ministry.
