P. 21
Our creator is not a force that is distant to us but is rather a person who has made himself known to us
through both natural and special revelation. He created us to live in a relationship with Him and when we
do not live up to our part of the relationship He is rightly angered by our disobedience and disrespect. As
a person who loves us and the One with all wisdom and power. He is the only one who can solve the
problems that our sin presents to our relationship with him and others.
God is impartial in all of his judgments. He is not influenced by physical appearances, economic status,
social/political connections or any other thing that can and will influence the judgment of people in this
world. What matters to Him is how well people do what he asks them to do as an expression of their
submission to His glory.
