believe, does not their unbelief cancel out the faith of God? May it never happen! But let God be true and
every person a liar, just as it is written, “Thus you may be justified in your words, and prevail (overcome) in
your being judged.” Now if our unrighteousness shows God’s righteousness, what might we say? Not
unrighteous is the God who brings about wrath, is He?

According to man I am speaking. May it never be! Then how would God judge the world? But if the truth of
God by my lie increases unto His glory, why am I still judged a sinner? And not just as we might blaspheme
and just as certain of us might say, ‘Let us do evil things, so that the good things might come’? Of which
              the judgment is just.

Jewish faithlessness and unrighteousness do not nullify the faithfulness and righteousness of God.

Therefore why? Are we better off? No by all means! for we were accused beforehand as Jews and Greeks
to all be under sin, just as it is written that,

There is not a righteous one, not one,
there is not the one who understands, there is not who seeks out God.
All are turned aside together they became worthless; there is not one who does what is right,
              there is not even one.

Open graves, their throats, their tongues deceive, poison of snakes is under their lips; of whom the mouth
is filled with cursing and bitterness, their feet are swift to shed blood, ruin and misery are in their way,
and the way of peace they do not know. There is not fear of God before their eyes.

But we know that what the law says to those in the law it speaks, so that every mouth might be silenced,
and all the world might become answerable to God; because out of works of law is not made righteous
any flesh before him, for by law is knowledge of sins.

All people (Jew and Gentile) have sinned and will be held accountable for breaking God’s law.

But now a without law righteousness of God has been made apparent by the witnessing through the Law
and the Prophets, now a righteousness of God through faith of Jesus Christ unto all those believing. For
there is not a difference, for all sinned and fall short of the glory of God being made righteous freely by his
grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; who God placed as a propitiation through trust in
his blood unto an indication of his righteousness through the passing over of the previously happened sins
by the forbearance of God, toward the demonstration of his righteousness in the present time, so that he
might be just and justifier — the out of faith of Jesus.

In the work of Christ God has shown His righteousness by justifying those who trust in Christ.

Therefore, where is the boasting? It is excluded. Through doing law? Of works? No, but through a law of
faith. For we are considered to be righteous by faith of a man without works of law. Is God of the Jews
only? And not also of Gentiles? Yes, and Gentiles, since one God who makes righteous the circumcised out
of faith and the uncircumcised through the faith. Therefore, do we nullify law through the faith? May it
never be! But rather we establish law.

Men are justified before God only on the basis of their faith in Christ and never on the basis of the things
              that they do.
