• Flexibility. Our plan is not impaired by a large and cumbersome insurance company that cannot
make changes in a quick and effective manner. The HPM Health Plan is governed by a board of
physicians and administrators who understand your business and can adjust plans based on
member input and suggestion. In addition, we operate with an efficient staff that can adapt
quickly and effectively.
• Control. The Board of Directors of the HPM Health Plan makes decisions with the best interest
of the trust in mind. It chooses our vendors based on the needs of our members. Plans are
designed and built based on the needs of our members. The trust’s dollars are spent to serve
and support our members, not to make a profit, and the board works hard to keep
administrative costs low.
