ABOUT THE AUTHOR
AND ILLUSTRATOR
Frank Rosenow has spent a lifetime with the sea, growing up on a
small island, going fo sea in his teens, and racing and cruising
sailboats all over the world ever since.
As a columnist in Sail, he is known for award-winning pencil
and watercolor drawings on maritime subjects.
He has trained as a sailmaker in his native Sweden but has
practiced little, his love of actual sailing—and drawing—most
often seeing him with a foot on the tiller, paintbrush in hand.
