worldtube it represents does not vanish when the light is off. That
invisible “outside” of the firefly must be continuous with its visible
“inside.” The power of logic is in defining both what is necessary
and its opposite, what is impossible; in describing what is possible
within continuum, logic must yield to science, purveyor of
conditional and probabilistic truths.
