Oh, why not admit
That he’s called our bluff?
HALFWIT 1:
Yes, what we’re doing
We have to be taught;
HALFWIT 2:
It seems to involve
Something to be sought.
HALFWIT 3:
That’s much more complex
Than we ever thought!
HALFWIT 1:
Once again we’ve lost
That one little fact,
HALFWIT 2:
The one without which
The rest come unpacked,
HALFWIT 3:
Leaving us looking
For something we lacked.
RIVAL 1: Oh, is that all? Well, your troubles are over. We know
what you’re looking for, don’t we?
RIVAL 2: Huh? Oh, yeah, sure we do.
HALFWIT 1:
But luck is with us!
No more confusion!
HALFWIT 2:
Ignorance itself
Was a delusion,
