And one morning late in winter,
Walter’s brand-new 3-D printer
Had after weeks at last arrived,
Ready to make what he’d contrived.

From that happy day his mealtime
Would follow working in real time
To fabricate something unique—
But no one else could take a peek

At his noodles before they dried,
And he was truly satisfied
With his latest pot-filling batch
Of crazy pasta made from scratch.

When they were on his dinner plate
Nothing was left after he ate,
And his parents had to admit:
Novelty noodles were a hit!
