The Old Observatory
As I watched transfixed one creature arose,
Hooked up two boxes by means of a hose,
And waited until the thing made a pop—
Then out came a big bowl of greenish glop!
He or she or it crept back to their bench,
And picked up what looked like a monkey wrench;
But it was just an eating utensil:
Their extremities were quite prehensile.
