        I dared not move a muscle or make a sound
        For fear they’d find me hanging around—
        And then what would my paltry life be worth?
        Undoubtedly nobody else on earth

        Yet knew this old and long-forgotten place
        Harbored two visitors from outer space:

        I had stumbled on aliens hidden
        In a place to the public forbidden.
