Back in the Sixties when Uncle moved in,
No one could pay for a nurse for their kin.
All that we had was an old couch upstairs;
My room was bigger but needed repairs.
Forty-one years in a coma he stayed:
I had to feed him while other kids played,
Just like a girl would take care of a doll;
Nobody else would go near him at all.
