Soon after rain starts
The only dry spot
In the parking lot
Is under a car.
Soon after rain stops
The only wet spot
In the parking lot
Is under a car.
Tea goes down in a diving bell;
I lock it in and wish it well,
Promising it would see a lot
There on the bottom of my pot—
But nothing of what it will meet
Pouring through holes at boiling heat;
Nor that its plight I will not heed
Until it can no longer bleed.
