“Underwa— Never mind,” I said. “Can you help me look for a camera? We need to get started with everything right away.”
“Don’t need to. I’ve got one upstairs we can use. Mum bought it for me when I needed to film an advert for the rabbit rescue.”
Excitement bubbled up in me when Kai brought the camera downstairs. It looked really fancy, with a large lens that zoomed out when he turned it on. Kai pointed the camera at me and it beeped as he pressed the button on the top. I stood over his shoulder and saw that it was recording.
“It shoots in 4K,” he said.
“Margot’s going to hate it,” muttered Fabien. Kai turned off the camera and handed it to me.
It was perfect! Now we had a story and something to film it on.
I led Kai back to Lady Agatha so we could get started with filming on the island. Doug was stooped over on the deck, repairing the leak by bashing at something with a shoe. I glanced around for Dad and saw him wandering
