Why did you acquire it?
Running out ofTime is one of the most extraordinary and ambitious debut novels that I’ve ever read: an ingenious concept, unbelievably gripping, fast-paced and intelligent writing, and some truly fantastic, high-concept twists. It’s a genre-defying thriller that you will not be able to put down.
Synopsis
Vasily has an extraordinary gift – he can steal time. Not a lot - the most he can take right now is fifteen seconds. Just enough to look ahead a few moments into the future and see what will happen next. His grandmother took almost three minutes once, and she told him she’s done more, but he never saw it. She says there are stories of someone who can take all the time in the world, but how can that be right?
And now Vasily is on the run with his father – fleeing from their home, where they are being chased by corrupt government forces, and attempting to reach the safety of England.
